Meet Nicole, the proud owner, founder, and driving force behind Island Dogs Canine Service. Nicole’s journey with dogs began at a young age with two Rottweilers, Athena and Ceasar, who showed her the blessings of a dogs love. Over the years, she has turned her passion into a fulfilling career.

Nicole rescued her Pit Bull, Koba, when she was just a little over a year old. What initially seemed like a super friendly, outgoing dog turned out to be quite anxious and not well-socialized. Together, they embarked on a journey of understanding Koba’s unique needs and figuring out what was right for her. Over two years later, Koba is a happy, healthy girl who loves to explore, go on adventures, and run around and wrestle with her doggy friends.

Nicole’s first experience in the dog care world began as a dog walker for a boarding facility, and from there, she grew to manage a doggie daycare facility where she oversaw operations, scheduling, and client relations. In addition to running Island Dogs, Nicole is also the administrative assistant for Cape Fearless Dog Training where she has gained valuable insights and adopted positive reinforcement techniques in all of her services.

In her free time, Nicole enjoys hanging out with Koba, whether they are at the beach, on a trail walk, or just at home hanging out and cuddling. She also loves surfing, reading, and tending to her plants.
